Strengthening Alignment
  • FLTASWCOM works with Fleet/OPNAV/INTEL/Labs,
    understanding different perspectives.
  • Integrated ASW Trainer for Strike Groups/Forces,
    Theater, JFMCC
  • Networked to the Fleet
  • SME for Integrated ASW
  • Fleet Contact for TF ASW
  • Executive Agent for ASWIP
  • Fleet Focused on Capabilities
  • SME for Sea Shield Operational Agent (C3F)
  • Leader of Sea Shield ASW FCT
  • Linked into Key INTEL Processes
  • Networked to experts in OPNAV/PEOs/LABs

Throughout, FLTASWCOM must be an honest broker,
open and inclusive, analytic and data driven.
Assessments will be based on true expertise and
data collected from event reconstruction.

Challenges and Opportunities
  • Drive to establish quantifiable goals required
    for CONOPS implementation
  • Develop a thermometer assessing expertise
    equipment relative to warfighting goals
  • Foster a culture of entrepreneurship with a
sense of urgency for technological agility
  • Researchers like research
  • POR tied into FYDP
  • FLTASWCOM as Ombudsman

  • Member of DNIs Submarine Flag Oversight Council
  • Member of ONIs Submarine Hard Targets Board
  • Member of CFFCs ISR Fleet Collaborative Team
  • Participant in national-level Horizontal
    Integration Intel Working Group
  • Participant in PACOMs IW and Collections
    Working Groups
  • Participant in C7F Intel/Cryptologic Conferences
  • Participant in NWDC war game development
  • Daily contact with ASW intel analysts worldwide
  • Goal Ensuring timely/accurate all-source intel
available to the Fleet at lowest possible
    classification levels
  • Strategy in synch with PACOM J2s theater intel
transformation that depends on intel partnerships
    alignment

TacWISE(Tactical Warfare Instructional Support
Environment)
  • TacWISE is a training tool designed to support
    the collection, integration, evaluation and
analysis of performance data, both objective and
    qualitative, in dynamic, multi-platform training
    environments.
  • Current version has been used in numerous fleet
    evaluations including Maritime Integrated
Tailored Training (MITT) and COMPTUEX. Current
collection is using NMETL-based metrics and
    standards.
  • Future enhancements to include SIPRNET capable,
PDA compatibility, one button push debriefs,
direct download to RA systems and other
    enhancements.

ASW MRT3(ASW Mission Rehearsal Tactical Team
Trainer)
  • To provide an integrated ASW training
    architecture that delivers site /
    threat / season-specific mission planning,
    rehearsal and debrief capabilities. This
distributed mission training will improve combat
readiness by providing fleet operators with
unique integrated training in a synthetic battle
space to mold and hone critical war fighting
    skills.
