• Accelerated product development is gaining

  American automobile market. Customer awareness
  and expectations are increasing with availability
  of high quality products. The project aims to
  translate changes in customer expectations to
  vehicle level changes.
• Quality Function Deployment converts customer
  expectations into technical will of an
  enterprise.
• P-diagram represents signals, noises, controls
  and ideal function of a product or a system.
• Functional Analysis Systems Technique breaks
  product or system into piece parts into
  functional requirements and enables cost
  comparison studies for different possible
  hardware sets to accomplish function.
• Mahalanobis Distance helps finding abnormal
  behavior among the group.
• Taguchi system of Quality Engineering is a set
  of methods to make product robust.
