Project summary

• The AMETHYST project aims at developing a
  benchmark and self-assessment tool for the wine
  industry
• Tool calculates energy and water efficiency
  indicators based on climate data of the wine
  region and process characteristics
• Tool provides a list of cost-effective energy
  saving options
• Country versions for France, Spain, Italy and
  Germany
• Tool available with user guide on the internet
• Workshops to train an expected 240 wineries in
  using the tool
• Cost-effective energy savings of more than 20
  expected
