Motivation/Requirements

• MRI data spectral and is later transformed into
  spatial domain.
• Images are typically registered using by hand and
  with automation.
• Most automated techniques work with only small
  rotations, translations, and scalings.

Possible Solution

• Fourier shift
• Notice the frequencies are not variant
• Phase correlation

• Inconclusive
• The Discrete Fourier is not invariant to
  rotation.
• Many false correlations.
