How To Tune the Violin
  • First a reference pitch must be heard (usually A
    440)
  • Twisted the peg that is attached to the A string.
  • Pluck the string while twisting the peg till the
    desired pitch is found.
  • If the pitch goes to high or low twist the peg in
    the opposite direction.

Tuning Continued
  • After the A string is tuned.
  • Continue by tuning the D, G, and E strings.
  • Each string is a 5th apart
