• Inoculate nitrate broth with loop
• Rotate in palms to mix Read Thursday
• 1. Gas () Nitrogen
• 2. Add Solution A (sulfanilic acid) and Solution
  B (dimethylalphanaphthlyamine)
• Nitrates gtgt Nitrites Cherry Red () done
• 3. Add zinc powder (converts nitrate to nitrite)
  and turns red in presence of other chemicals
  nitrates were not reduced (no reduction -)
• 4. Assume ammonia is produced
