Virginia Plan

• Three separate branches.
• Bicameral legislative branch.
• Government could interfere with State laws.
• Executive branch and judicial branch could veto
  acts.
• States would support the Union.

New Jersey Plan

• Unicameral legislative branch equally
  represented.
• Government could tax.
• More than one chief executive.

Compromise

• Connecticut Compromise- Created a Senate equally
  represented and a House of Representatives
  represented according to State population.
• Three-Fifths Compromise- Each slave would count
  as 3/5 for population purposes.
• Commerce and Slave Trade Compromise- Couldnt tax
  exports or stop slave trade.
