    sided approach to work-life balance
  • Focusing primarily on benefits, organizational
    policies, and procedures to help solve the
    work-life balance issue
  • This leaves out the individual employees
    responsibility for his/her own personal issues

The Corporate Ladder
  • Climbing the corporate ladder is harder when
    you dont have both legs on the ladder
  • With a one-sided strategy, one will not
    effectively achieve a balance between work and
    home
  • Support is needed by having both legs

It takes two legs for a ladder to stand. You
cannot climb a ladder that is not standing.
