The Media has always been interested in Joe and
Sue Paternos family.

- The media catches Joe at every angle and this is
a good one.
Joe Paterno is more than just a coach. He also
is a philanthropist. Here, Joe and Sue Paterno
talk during a 1998 press conference as their 3.5
million gift to Penn State is announced. In
total, the Paternos have given more than 4
million to the University for causes such as the
library, scholarships and the spiritual center.

20Through the Decades
- Many things have changed and many have stayed the
same. The New York times seems to have taken less
interesting in Penn States College Football
Career this past year in October compared to
earlier years and decades. Its interesting to
see how the media chooses who to write articles
on, and how many inches they are worthy of.
