1969 was a great season for Penn State football.
This article proves it and flatters us by telling
the nation about our great winning record with
recently hired Paterno of three years.

October in 1979.

Joe Paterno is more than just a coach. He also
is a philanthropist. Here, Joe and Sue Paterno

total, the Paternos have given more than 4
million to the University for causes such as the
library, scholarships and the spiritual center.

Through the Decades

• Many things have changed and many have stayed the
  same. The New York times seems to have taken less
  interesting in Penn States College Football
  Career this past year in October compared to
  earlier years and decades. Its interesting to
  see how the media chooses who to write articles
  on, and how many inches they are worthy of.
