EHPA Shelters A Code Requirement
  • Florida Building Code Section 423.25
  • Enhanced Hurricane Protection Area (EHPA) is
    required by all new educational facilities unless
    a waiver is received
  • Shall provide emergency shelter protection for
    up to 8 hours during a hurricane
