HRMS Status
  • DOP and Accenture have been engaged in
    significant replanning since last Go Live
    decision
  • Renewed focus on project governance and
    management
  • Replanning resulted in change requests factored
    into new schedule and budget
  • No legislative budget action required
  • Project was prepared to present this information
    today

  • Budget bill (ESSB 6090) postpones COLAs for
    non-represented state employees to 9/1/2005 this
    has a significant impact on the project
  • Key state personnel working on HRMS now diverted
    to make PAY1 modifications
  • Critical work is now stopped
  • Impact is approximately 4-6 months and 8-9
    million

ISB Staff Recommendations
  • ISB approve DOPs amended investment plan (cost
    of change requests)
  • ISB establish a review panel for HRMS to report
    at future Board meetings
  • DOP continue the Go Live process and include
    members of HRMS Steering Committee as well as the
    QA vendor

  • DOP provide revised plan and budget based on
    impact of legislation as soon as available
  • DOP implement QA recommendation 55 from May 2005
    report
  • Weekly project status and metric reporting to
    the sponsors should include what was planned for
    completion, as well as what was accomplished.
