  biggest and most prosperous charity organisation
  in Poland.

• In March 1993 in Warsaw Jerzy Owsiak registered
  the Foundation- The Great Orchestra of Christmas
  Chaitry. Jerzy Owsiak, Lidia Niedzwieha-Owsiak,
• Bohdan Maruszewski and Piotr Burczynski have
  became the members. The idea of GOCC was created
  by Jerzy Owsiak- the author of an arant-garde TV
  show he said that cadio surgeous from The
  Children Memorial Health Institute can not
  perform surgevies on babies dure to the lack of
  funds for medical equipment. Owsiak
• encouraged his audiences to help ill children.

• . Every year the GOCC organizes The Great Final
  is a huge action and the source of
  funds-eventually spent by the Foundation on
  medical equipment for Public Hospitals
• in Poland. The Final is one day long, nation-
  wide money gathering on the first or second
  Sunday of the year.
• Volunteers collect money in the streets and
  organize many kinds of actions concerts,
  parties, auctions and shows

• During the First Great Final GOCC collected 1535
  440, 68USD which was really impressive sum of
  money. The sum was spent for the modern equipment
  for 10
• Pediatvic Cardio Surgery Divisions in Poland.
• Between 1993 an 2006, during the 15 editions of
  the Great Final/ the GOCC has collected more than
  65 mln. This sum was spent for the proffesiond
• medical equipment for Public Medical Institutions
  in Poland

• .Even though, The Great Final Day was supposed to
  be a success so the organizers repeated it next
  year, and then year after that Eventually, The
  Great Final
• Day became a tradition. The sum of collected
  money increases every year.
• Every year the gratest Polish pop stars and
  famous rock bands play and sing for free.Hundreds
  of honest, reliable and fully dedicated
  volunteers are willing to cellect money for
  children in the streets.

• During each Great Final the "Golden Hearts", "
  The Golden Thelephone Cadrs" and many different
  gifts given from Poles and people all over the
  world
• for the Foundation are bidden. The biggest
  auction was for the heart which number "1" . The
  biggest price for this heart(33. 333, 33 USD) was
  paid during
• VII th Final of WOSP (GOCC) . This tradition og
  bidding hearts emerged during First Gresat Final
  of GOOC in 1993.
• Next custom inctruduced by Jerzy Owsiak is the
  auction of " Golden Telephone Cards" which has
  started during the VI th Great Final of GOCC.
• These cards are produced by Polish
  Telecommunications. The first part of the Golden
  Cards was bidden during the VI th Great Final of
  WOSP.

• Every year 100 cards is sold at an auction.
• Apart from The Great Final, the foundation also
  trows one of the biggest rock concerts in Poland,
  The Woodstock Stop, and it started the Peace
  Patrol,
• a young volunteers' group trained in first aid by
  the GOCC, the Polish Red Cross and the local
  police from a city of Szadowo
