What is mood?
  • A mood- or atmosphere- is a feeling that a
    literary work conveys to readers.
  • Mood is the atmosphere created by the setting,
    and actions of people and characters in it.

What is tone???
  • Tone is the attitude a writer has towards the
    subject they're writing about. It is evident in
    they're diction, style, and opinion if they
    express one.

What is theme???
  • A theme is the meaning or message about life or
    human nature that is communicated in a literary
    work.
  • In many cases, readers must infer what the theme
    is.

What is irony???
  • Irony is a contrast between what is expected and
    what actually exists or happens.

What is point of view???
  • The perspective from which a story is told.

  • First person the narrator is a character in the
    story and uses first person pronouns such as I,
    me, and we.
