• We are carrying out market research for the
  Go-SNAX company.
• Today we are going to taste test some healthy
  treats and produce some figures and graphs that
  can be used as part of our research.

Choose 5 descriptors to score in your taste test

• Texture (How it feels)
• Type of taste
• What type of smell
• How it looks
• How it feels
• Look at the vocabulary sheet and
• choose, in your groups, 5 descriptors.

Food allergies

• If any pupils are not allowed certain types of
  foods can they please let me know now.

Your task

• Prepare your recording sheet (5 descriptors to
  judge each your snack)
• Run your taste tests keeping accurate records of
  the scores.
• Use your spreadsheet to present your results
  clearly (using suitable graphs).
• Make sure you save your work with sensible
  filenames.

  the types of snacks that are most popular so we
  can develop a new product that should sell well.
