• To have created a flowchart to show the scenes in
  your story
• To have started your story script

A Flowchart

• Shows how different things join up
• Use standard symbols
• Rectangle an action/event
• Diamond - a decision
• Rounded rectangle start/stop
• Can be used for many things apart from laying out
  an animated story
• An example
• All symbols are available in Word

Start your flowchart

• Start your flowchart, basing it on the different
  parts of your story that you included in your
  proposal
• Dont put in too much detail at this stage

Finished the flowchart?

• Start writing the actual script for each scene
  (box on the flowchart)
• Remember to include
• Background/setting/locations
• Dialogue
• Action
• Special effects
