Maintenance Windows
Proposed 2007 Dates

• There will be 5 Scheduled Maintenance Windows
• and 7 At Risk Maintenance Windows per annum
• Scheduled Maintenance Windows
• - will be from 13.00 to 17.00 on a Friday.
• content from UAG, UNG and USG must be proposed
  a minimum of three weeks before the window date.
• At Risk Maintenance Windows
• will be from 08.00 to 10.00 on a Friday.
• content from UAG, UNG and USG must be proposed
  a minimum of two weeks before the window date.
• Changes must be submitted by close of Closed
  for content day.
• SDMs will inform their customers of the proposed
  dates
• for the whole of the calendar year and will
  discuss and
• agree adjustments according to essential business
  need.At the appropriate number of prior working
  days SDMs will remind their customers that a
  window is due. They will
• also inform the customers of the affected
  services and
• expected impacts. It is therefore mandatory to be
  able to
• identify what applications and services run on
  what servers.

July and August dates are to accommodate the
different needs of Finance and Registry at
end/start of academic year.
