Can One Be a Child of God Without All Of These
Things?

Therefore, baptism is essential to being a new
Creature!

  God?
• Putting on Christ?
• The answer to all of these questions is NO!
• Yet God places all of these things in
  correspondence with our faith and obedience in
  Baptism Col. 212

Conclusion

• The only conclusions we can make are
• That the baptism, along with faith in the gospel,
  repentance and confession, is essential to one
  being a new creature.
• That baptism without faith in Christ is not
  scriptural baptism (infant baptism, wrong faith).
• That since baptism resembles our entrance into a
  new life, we must walk as if new creatures by
  putting away our old sins (not once saved always
  saved).
• Have you become a new creation according to the
  Bible pattern?
