Assessment Process Assumptions
  • Quality cannot be defined but can be recognized
    by the customer
  • Quality is determined by the customer not the
    supplier
  • It is only possible to do your job well when you
    understand what is expected
  • Everyone wants to and can do quality work

15
Assessment Process Issues
  • You must first MEET Expectations before you
    can EXCEED Expectations
  • The faculty is responsible for defining
expectations i.e., what is required to MEET
    customer expectations!
  • Students are responsible for determining what is
    required to EXCEED customer expectations!
  • Work can be resubmitted ONCE to MEET ( but
    NOT EXCEED !! ) Expectations
