Terminology used in S.M.
  • Independent variable
  • The thing you changed, thing that is manipulated
    on purpose
  • It is a variable whose value we know before
    starting an experiment
  • When Graphing
  • Goes on the X axis (horizontal)
  • Should be on the left side of a data table

  • Changes with the independent variable
