Title: What is Microfiber
1MICROFIBER
A microfiber is so called when it's weight is
less than 1 gram per 10km length. For most
microfibers this equates to a diameter of less
than 0.13 denier. A microfiber is always made up
of two polymers, which combine to form a single
tread. The polymers are used 70 polyester and
30 polyamide(nylon).
- The thickness of micro-fiber is finer than 1/100
of human-hair.
- Microfiber would have more than 10 times of
surface area comparing to normal fiber, and this
will - create much stronger absorbability due to
capillary actions of these fine holes.
- The ultra fineness of each fiber means more
fibers per square centimeter. - This results in a far greater quantity of
fibers coming into contact with the surface to be
cleaned. - This gives a faster, more efficient result.
2- Advantage of Microfiber product
The fibers are then used in the manufacture of
microfiber cleaning cloths. This can take various
forms for example woven and knitted cloths,
non-woven etc.
- Because of the capillary action of the
microscopic pores of each fiber, it absorbs a
tremendous - volume of dirty water with lightening speed.
- In addition its drying abilty is superior. If it
is squeezed, the absorbed water of quickly moved - on the surface of the fiber through the
inside minute hole and in a short time it is
exhaled and dried. - Microfiber is capable of absorbing 7 times their
own weight in water."

- A micro-fiber is made of 70 Polyester and 30
Polyamide bi-component fiber and - it is split into 16 or 17 micro segments by
special physical chemical treatment.
- The splitted Microfiber have two components a
star-shaped polyamide(nylon) core, - with polyester segments in the spaces
between the points.
