Autonomy An autonomous robot is one that has all
of its needs stored on board. That is, the robot
has batteries, sensors, computers and control
programs so that it is not connected to any
external helper. The control programs also have
to be able to operate without human assistance.

Intelligence How can robots be intelligent? By
performing actions that, if we saw a human doing
them, we would think them intelligent. These
things include learning, so that you dont make
the same mistake twice, not crashing into things,
etc. Some things can be hard-wired, but then
there is always the danger that some scenario you
didnt think of happens.
