DEFINITION OF A TARDY
  • You are tardy if you are not inside the classroom
    when the tardy bell rings

Passing Period Expectations
  • Passing periods are 4 minutes long
  • You are expected to walk and talk your way to
    your next class do not stop and hang out in the
    hallway
  • Passing periods are also the time to use the
    restroom

What do I do if Im tardy?
  • If you are tardy, you will be swept to the
    Tardy Sweep and ID Station in Room 1702
  • Once you arrive, sit in the appropriate area
    (they are divided by grade level)
  • Wait silently until a teacher calls you to the
    table to fill out your card
  • Once your paperwork is completed and you have
    received a pass, report directly to your
    classroom

  • 1st tardy warning
  • 2nd tardy warning
  • 3rd tardy warning
  • 4th tardy 1 hour d-hall
  • 5th tardy 2 hour d-hall
  • 6th tardy office referral

Tardy Sweep Reminders
  • Do not argue with the teachers at Tardy Sweep
  • If you are at Tardy Sweep, you are tardy if you
    feel that you should not have been tardy, this is
    not the time to argue about it. Accept the
    consequence and then check with the AP later
  • Do not disrupt the Tardy Station process
  • There are classrooms all around the tardy sweep,
    and you must respect other students right to
    learn

  • You cant be a PRRO if you are tardy!
