2ODP ICTAP Overview
- UASI Grant Funding
- Intended to enhance the ability of first
responders and public safety officials to secure
critical infrastructure and respond to acts of
terrorism. - UASI funds are to address unique equipment,
training, planning and exercise needs of large,
high- threat urban areas. - Urban Area Working Groups (UAWG) receive UASI
funding - Interoperability Communications goals
objectives supported by UASI Metropolitan
Assistance Plans (MAP) - ICTAP initially focused on Urban Areas
- Technical assistance associated with UASI grants
- ICTAP process integrated with Urban Area Working
Groups - Availability on State-wide basis under
development - Does not impact any grant status (its free)

- Enhance Public Safety Interoperability with
regard to WMD terrorism threats - Local / State / Federal
- Prevention, Response and Recovery
- Voice Data
- Provide capability for individuals and agencies
to communicate with whom they need to whenever,
and wherever required.

Purpose of Work Plan
- Used to establish and maintain the
collaborative plan for the Technical Assistance
(TA) that will be provided to State of Idaho
under the Office of Domestic Preparedness (ODP)
Interoperable Communications TA Program (ICTAP) - Completed jointly with input from ICTAP team
members and designated representatives from the
Idaho SIEC (TBR?) - The purpose of the Work plan is to ensure
agreement between ODP and the Idaho prior to
services being provided and will serve as
guidance for all parties involved with the work
effort - It is intended that this document be updated on
a regular basis, by mutual agreement, in order to
reflect current planning information.
