Title: Call for a creative and catchy new logo
1Call for a creative and catchy new logo Two
Master programmes, MARELAC (UGent) and ECOMAMA
(VUB and UA) have decided to become a joint
master programme from next academic year onwards.
The new master programme will, upon successful
completion, confer the degree of Master of
marine and lacustrine science and management
. Its short name will be Oceans and Lakes.
The final programme is in the process of final
approval, meanwhile we are looking for a catchy
and attractive new logo. As its title suggests,
the programme focuses on marine and lacustrine
systems, research and management, at all
latitudes. On the next slides you find some
attempts for a logo. We are sure you can do much
better. We included the logos of the 3
universities involved, in order to illustrate
which colours can be used. The call for a logo is
open ! Latest January 10th, 6 p.m. we expect
your projects (see below). Representatives of
the three universities together will decide which
of the presented logos will be used. Evidently
the logo has to be an original creation and the
people submitting a project declare by
submitting that their work is original, both in
design and presentation. The winner will allow
use of this logo for the programme and its PR.
His or her name will be mentioned in the
presentation of the new programme. He or she will
be offered a FNAC voucher worth 500. If no logo
project meets the expectations of the
interuniversity jury, the call may be opened
again.
