RD IN A PROGRESS
ROAD TO the MAXIMUM DESIGN DIPOLE MAGNETIC FIELD
in the NUCLOTRON
NOTE, each dipole was tested at the nominal cycle
parameters 2 T, 4 T/s, 1Hz at the test bench
before installation in the ring. The peak field
of more than 2.2 T is correspond to the quench
current of the magnets.

    operating)

  • Quench Detection System The system self-test
    before operating
    ..cycle was put into operation.
  • Stored Energy Evacuation System The
    works were carried out, but not completed up to
    now. THUS, WE SHOULD TO LIMIT SUPPLY
    CURRENT in the DIPOLES by the MAXIMUM VALUE of
    1.6 T
