MJAA Overview

• MJAA-US is an association of MJ graduates
  residing in US and Canada
• Provision to add non MJ members
• US based non-profit organization
• Will be registered as tax exempt entity under IRS
  Section 501 (c) (3) and by the California
  Franchise Tax Board Section 23701 (d)
• Will be governed by By-laws and elected body
• No direct/legal affiliation with MJCET Alumni
  Association of Hyderabad (MJCETAA) due to legal
  and tax issues
• Will be funded by membership dues and alumni
  donations predominantly
• Goal is to establish endowment fund down the road

• Quarterly newsletter to keep alumni informed

• Assisting and interacting students and one
  another thru MJAA portal for academic and career
  guidance
• Contributing to Scholarships and School
  Infrastructure
• Instituting Annual scholarship program for
  deserving students
• Assisting School in augmenting infrastructure
  used for academics and research
