• Topic Dictionary of measuring instruments

• Split the two parts

  instruments)
• Stop the work on (a) in SC4 and leave it for IEC
  SC65B
• Provide the Part 501 DIS document for ballot by
  Nov 15

Joint meeting with ECCMA and NATO AC/135 (TU pm)

• Technical requirements of ECCMA have been agreed
  upon and will be addressed in the amendment
• Early comments from the NWI ballot have been
  discussed

XML Schema for dictionary exchange

• Proposals of XML Schemas have been reviewed
• SAP
• LISI based on LISI / Toshiba SimPLib
• Decision
• WP2 will develop an XML schema for dictionary
  exchange as an IS
• Members are requested to comment on the proposals
  by Nov 15
• Basis will be the both schemas, SAP will be
  invited to contribute

• ISO/IEC 11179
• Standard for meta data registry
• Ed Barkmaier gave an (expert!) insight view into
  the standard
• Result of review
• Targets of the standard are different
• No real support for structured model
• Clarify difference
• Re-use what might be useful

• Both Part 501 (measuring instrument)and Part 511
  (fasteners) to be issued for DIS ballot before
  December
• New release of dictionary schema
• draft November 15th
• review (WG2 IEC) December the 15th
• goal issued before Lillehammer
• Draft XML schema to be circulated before end of
  Year
