IPFM - Introduction to Public Financial
Management

• The training objective of the course is to give a
  broad understanding of the public finance
  management function and its main sub-activities.
• The course is designed for junior governmental
  officials assigned to public finance management
  positions.
• The program and presentations have been designed
  by experts from regions ministries who are
  currently managing public finance issues in their
  respective countries.
• The reason for delivering the training in the
  member countries
• lower the costs of training (travel, per diem,
  hotel)
• possibility of translation into national
  language

expectations? More than that! (2) I hope it will
be more useful when I learn more about my job. I
am new here and everything I heard is a little
bit strange to me. But it is a good introduction
to the job. Classes are similar to the

HOW TO ORGANISE IPFM IN YOUR COUNTRY ?

• MEMBER COUNTRY CONTRIBUTION
• a group of not less than 15 participants,
• classroom with technical facilities (LCD
  projector, white board, flipchart),
• photocopying facilities,
• refreshments and coffee for participants during
  breaks,
• translation from English to the local language
  (if needed).

HOW TO ORGANISE IPFM IN YOUR COUNTRY ?

• EXPRESSING INTEREST
• LETTER from Ministry of finance of institution
  dealing with training of public servants
• prior to June 30 for the course to be
  implemented in the same calendar year or
• by September 30 for the course to be implemented
  by end of June in the next calendar year.

• FINANCING
• CEF - lecturers costs of travel,
  accommodation, and fees and costs of CEF
  coordinator.
• Country - the classroom rental costs, costs of
  photocopying, costs of the refreshments and the
  costs of translation (if needed).
