in Sulgrave Manor. It is a fully functioning
Tudor kitchen. The photograph was taken at a
special Tudor day at the Manor. Look carefully at
the equipment, the clothes, the food, the
utensils. How many items can you recognise? What
kind of things did Tudor rich people eat? How
similar is it to today, and how different?

in a house at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life.
This is a typical house from the Victorian
period. Look carefully at the equipment, the
food, the utensils. How many items can you
recognise? What kind of things did Victorian
people eat? How has the kitchen changed from
Tudor times?

Now think carefully about your kitchen at home.
How similar is your kitchen to a the tudor
kitchen b the Victorian kitchen? Make a list of
things that appear in all three kitchens. How
have things changed. Make a list of all the
changes you have noticed. Which kitchen would you
prefer to eat in? Why? Which kitchen would you
prefer to work in? Why? Now answer the following
question I think that sometimes things change
