- Reading and Math Assessments are given to all
students in grades 3 through 8 and high school
(under OTL rules) - Five proficiency levels are assigned to student
scores - 1) Academic Warning
- 2) Approaches Standard
- 3) Meets Standard
- 4) Exceeds Standard
- 5) Exemplary

- Each proficiency level is based on a range of
scores. - Score ranges that define each proficiency level
vary by grade, subject, and type of assessment. - A student is considered proficient or meets the
grade level standard when his/her score falls
into the range that classifies performance as
meets standard or higher. - The results presented here show the percentage of
students whose score classified them as having
met the standard, exceeded the standard or
exemplary.
