  • Please note this information is about the

    same name on your home computer, but they arent
    the same.

Logging in the First Time
  • Enter your User Name 6 digit Student ID number
  • First Time Login h_at_y5(1sD
  • Click OK

Creating a Password
  • A screen will appear to notify you that Your
    password has expired and must be changed.
  • Click OK and the screen disappears.
  • Your password must be at least 8 characters and
    something you can easily remember. Capitals and
    lower case letters count!

Change Password Screen
  • Leave the Old Password dots alone!
  • Enter your password in the New Password space.
  • Enter your password in Confirm New Password.
  • Click OK.

Congratulations!
  • You are done with changing your password.
  • Be sure to keep it secure and remember it.
  • Do not share it with anyone.

Log Out
From the start menu, select Log Off from your
account When asked Are you sure you want to log
off?, select Log Off

Try It! Log out, then log back in.

  • Log Back On using your new password.
  • Double click on my computer.
  • You will now see many drives. You will be working
    with your U drive.

  • Double click on your U drive and create new
    folders.
  • File?New?Folder or right click and select
    new?folder.
  • Create a new folder for each subject.

  • Now you can save your documents inside the
    organized folders!

  • To save a document from a program
  • File?Save As

  • Select your U drive and the folder and name the
    document with a good clear name and save.

Saving a Read Only Document
  • Sometimes your teacher will place read only
    documents on the T\\ drive for you to fill in
    and use.
  • ?You must first save them to YOUR U\\ drive
    with a new name to make them yours or any work
    you do might be lost!

  • At the end of the period, listen for directions.
    You will do one of the following
  • Log off of your account and log back in as a
    generic student for the next class.
  • Log off if yours is the last class of the day.
  • Shut down if yours is the last class of the week.

    your work done at school.
