Welcome to the world of datalogging with Texas
Instruments.
As you work through this program you will be
automatically transferred to appropriate
presentations that match your equipment and
needs. This is done by pointing to an action
button as directed.

Texas Instruments dataloggers include
1. CBL (Calculator Based Laboratory) this
interface connects to the calculator. Two
versions of the CBL are currently in use. More
than forty probes can be run from these units (up
to 3 at a time). You will learn how to use these
units in this program.

2. CBR ? (Calculator Based Ranger) this is a
motion detector that can be used either directly
from the calculator or as a probe on the CBL
system.

using the CBR contact details appear later in
the presentation.

Both the CBL CBR interfaces can be connected
directly to a computer using TI-Interactive! ?
software.

This program describes how to use the TI-83 Plus
? calculator or the TI-83 ? calculator with
either CBL system. All you have to do is to
choose the action buttons that refer to your
calculator and CBL system as you go through the
program.
You will select your version of datalogger on the
next slide

  the relevant action button.

When you press one of the icons you will leave
this presentation and start a new one to match
your datalogger.
