and down the table What does a function graph
look like?????   6  Use and the arrow keys to
move along the line. The display will not be
friendly to students because the values are not
integers.   8 will make the display
friendly.

NAME THAT LINE
Rules A student enters a linear equation in
y-intercept form (y mx b) into Y . The
slope must be between -10 and 10 and the
y-intercept must be between -6 and 6 using whole
numbers ( when students get good at this, then
they can use rational numbers). After pressing
GRAPH the student then hands their calculator to
their partner and visa versa. Without pressing
Y , the student guesses what the linear
equation is. Make sure the students have the
same window!! A friendly window works very
nicely. Students can also use TRACE or
anything else that they want to use as long as
they do not use Y.

appear, you can put another guess on top of it
by using the same key strokes or you can

  • Click on Register to the right.
  • Follow all of the intermediate instructions and
    process.
  • After you are registered, click on edit notes

  • Type your username and password.
  • Follow the directions
  • Start typing

To add Clipart and Sound
  • While in edit, in the left margin, right click on
    Advanced User Guide and Open in a New Window.
  • Click on Image Tag examples
  • Choose the one you like.
  • Copy the Image source and paste it on your
    page. Give it a few minutes and you can Preview
    it!
  • Do the same with sound
