2IT Services is currently migrating each
department over to the new Microsoft network in
phases. After each department is migrated, a
help desk representative will follow up
visitation to the specific department that was
recently migrated to ensure 1) login, 2) network
drive access, and 3) GroupWise access. Related
Microsoft training (including MS Office 2007,
Outlook 2007) will be offered as well, increasing
in frequency half way throughout the phased
migration. Throughout the migration, users
should contact the IT Help Desk (ext. 5199 or
helpdesk_at_ciu.edu) for all questions, issues, or
concerns.

- New Look for I Drive Network Folder
- The J drive will pretty much remain the same
as IT Services will simply copy previous J drive
content over to the new J drive location.
However, migrated users will no longer have
access to drives such as K. The only two
network drives accessible to migrated users will
be J and I. Under the users I drive, they
will see a folder for GROUP which will contain
their shared departmental drives and then a
folder for APPS which will contain their shared
applications such as AOP, etc.
