RARE Hurricane 400/178
The Base is shown with six risers (that hold
the chimney). But the Base was also made
with beads in the bottom to serve the same func-
tion, and it is also made plain. In any case -
IT IS RARE!!

CW 400/79 Hurricane Hand Painted in Gold and
trimmed in Gold. Since it is not pictured in any
of the books we dont know who decorated it.
This hurricane was acquired at the NIGCS Imperial
Auction in June, 2006. This was one of a pair -
the other went to California. The next slide
shows the base and globe separated.
