The Holy Spirit first comes to a person in the
courtship of prevenient grace, resulting in the
saving faith that produces the New Birth. In
sanctifying grace, the Spirit applies the blood
of Jesus to break the dominion of the old self
the believer then becomes a candidate for the
third blessing the Pentecostal baptism with the
Holy Spirit.
