Overview
  • The Mentoring Program targets and serves our at

  • These students may be at risk of experiencing
    academic failure, poor parent/child relationship,
    economic deprivation, poor social skills,
    delinquency, culturally disadvantaged, peer
relationship problems, low self concept, trouble
controlling temper, depression, or a lack of
support and attention from a stable adult. Or
they may just need a little extra help with their
    schoolwork.

Who is Involved?
  • Mentees are those students being mentored. Any
student in the SCS system who has been
    indentified as at risk.
  • Mentors are our volunteers who agree to help
the at risk students. They can be high school
students who are well-rounded academic achievers,
or a responsible adult from the community.

Benefits
