Interphase
- Interphase first replicates chromosomes into two
identical sets
26Back
Prophase
- DNA forms chromosomes, nucleus dissolves,
spindles form. Every set of chromatids attach
with their homologue to form tetrads. This
connection is called synapsis, in which similar
chromosomes (homologues) wrap around each other
and may exchange pieces. This is called crossing
over and results in new gene combinations on
chromosomes that will produce genetically unique
gametes. This random "shuffle" of genes ensures
that the new zygote formed in fertilization will
be genetically different from its parents.
27Back
Metaphase
- The tetrads are moved by spindle fibers to the
equator of the cell

39Slide Layout
- Use the pre-made slide layouts
40Use design templates
Use the pre-formatted templates.or use a simple
background color
41PowerPoint animation
- Animation (movement of text/objects on slide)
- Use when motion must be shown
- OR
- When you are showing steps
- OR
- To sequence information
42Example of animation
- If you are asking a question
- Who is the 43rd president of the U.S?
George W. Bush
43PowerPoint transitions
- Transition (refers to the actions between slides)
- Keeps the presentation flowing
- Professional look
44Example of a transition
- The following transition is called
- Box In
45Conclusion
- Multimedia presentations multi-sensory learning
experience - Design presentation to meet audience capabilities
- Use multiple forms of media and PowerPoint
functions
