Holiday Gift Giving at GlobalGiving

Your Donors can come to GlobalGiving and Choose
your project!

• Lets start with an example. This year, Id like
  to make a donation to a project in honor of my
  aunt as a holiday present. So I come to the
  GlobalGiving site and log-in as I already have a
  user account. I look through the projects to pick
  something my aunt would like.

Choosing a Project (contd)

• I decide to donate to the Noon Meal Improves
  Girls Learning in Burkina Faso. My aunt is a
  school teacher and is interested in Africa, so
  she would love this project. I click on the 15
  donation option and click give now.

Giving Cart

• This brings me to my giving cart. Here I see the
  project name and donation amount and I see a box
  that asks if I would like to make the donation
  in honor of someone. I check this box. I can
  also choose to send an e-card or a paper card and
  have 4 beautiful designs to choose from Give
  Love, Give Hope, Give Joy, and Give Green.

• I choose the e-card option and the Give Love
  card. I enter my aunts contact information,
  preview the gift card, and save gift information.
  I then proceed to checkout and make my payment.
  After I go through this process, I am notified
  that my donation went through!

Sending the Card

• When I am done, a beautiful e-card is sent to my
  aunt. The card also links back to the project
  page so she can read all about the project and
  recommend it to friends and family!

End of Year Giving at GlobalGiving

• The end of the year is where we see the push for
  donations. We recommend getting the word out to
  your networks to give to your project for the
  holidays! You can use the text below. Happy
  Holidays!
• Give to our project on GlobalGiving as a gift
  to a
• friend, a colleague, or anyone you would like to
  honor
• in this unique way. You can choose from several
  different
• designs and send a beautiful card (including
  project
• details) via email or post. When you find a
  project you'd
• like to give, simply choose "Make this a Gift"
  when
• you're completing your donation! You can share
  this
• presentation to introduce a donor to gift-giving
  at
