The Software and Platform selected for this
website is based upon the analysis of the most
appropriate platform for delivering an engaging,
informational, easily updated, and media enabled
site that will attract new users and hold traffic
for a minimum of 5 minutes and a maximum 45
minutes to an hour. The platform and software
selected are as follows

The Software and Platform selected for the CKBF
website

• PHP - is a widely-used general-purpose scripting
  language that is especially suited for Web
  development and can be embedded into HTML
• HTML Version 4.01- This specification defines the
  HyperText Markup Language (HTML), the publishing
  language of the World Wide Web. This
  specification defines HTML 4.01, which is a
  subversion of HTML 4. In addition to the text,
  multimedia, and hyperlink features of the
  previous versions of HTML (HTML 3.2 HTML32 and
  HTML 2.0 RFC1866), HTML 4 supports more
  multimedia options, scripting languages, style
  sheets, better printing facilities, and documents
  that are more accessible to users with
  disabilities. HTML 4 also takes great strides
  towards the internationalization of documents,
  with the goal of making the Web truly World Wide.
  
• CSS - Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is a simple
  mechanism for adding style (e.g. fonts, colors,
  spacing) to Web documents. Tutorials, books,
  mailing lists for users, etc. can be found on the
  learning CSS page. For background information

  Discussions about CSS are carried out on the

  question for the pastor. We will setup the
  functionality to count the number of clicks a
  given question receives therefore giving it a
  rating. Those question with the highest will be
  moved into the top 10.)
