69 agreements for translation of 43 titles into
15 languages totaling some 167,000 copies
published worldwide - The Banks content is increasingly licensed to
electronic content aggregators - We are in discussions to develop a comprehensive
e-library which will be marketed as a
subscription product

publications - Each member country is entitled to one depository
library - Additional depositories may be designated in
developing countries
20Depository Library Selection Criteria
- Location Generally no more than one library is
designated in any one city - Facilities a public reading room and adequate
shelf space - Staff At least one trained librarian
- Systems Bibliographic control
- Accessibility open to the public during normal
business hours free access - Library users evidence of communities served
- Outreach An accessions or current acquisitions
list should be circulated regularly to the
library's clients

- Receives all major annual publications and any
official publications concerning the library's
particular geographic region - around 40 titles per year
- Same selection criteria as for depository
libraries

- Documents are not primarily written for
external dissemination. They are released to the
public according to the Banks disclosure policy.
Most refer to specific Bank projects. - The Banks disclosure policy promotes increased
transparency more and more documents are made

information to stakeholders are enhanced. Full
