- 4.5 million for FY 2002-03, 5 million for
- FY 2003-04, 5 million for FY 2004-05
- Purpose of Grants
- To establish 222 integrated and seamless
secondary and post-secondary education and
training in three industry clusters Bio/Life
Sciences, Information Technology/Opto-Electronics
and Advanced Manufacturing and Materials up to
300,000/grant - For local workforce regions to establish or
expand workforce development services,
particularly with degree granting programs up
to 100,000/grant - For flexible and responsive training programs for
incumbent workers

4PA Workforce Pipeline222 Educational Programs
- Secondary students must attain the level of
advanced or proficient on each of the math,
reading and writing assessments of the PSSA - Guarantee/Warranty for each program level and for
graduates (12 credits of retraining at any level
if needed) - Advanced placement into the next sequence of
education (at least 15 credits into the next
level)
