2003/4 Hockey Results
  • Senior A Hockey Team
  • Leinster Cup Round 1 Victory over St. Gerards
    of Bray 1 0. Manor House advance to the second
    round for the first time in this competition.
  • Leinster Cup Round 2 Lose to Alexandra College
    2 0. Alexandra College then progress to
    Leinster final.
  • North Dublin League 2002 2003 Champions.
    Unfortunately missed out on a place in the final
    and finished third.
  • George Herriots College, England Played a
    challenge match against the visiting school. An
    entertaining match ended up in a 1 1 draw.
  • Representative Honours Six Senior A players
    represent the Leinster Development Squad at the
    Leinster Selection Trials.
  • Senior B Hockey Team
  • Leinster League Reached the Quarter Finals only
    to be beaten by Mt. Anville.

2003/4 Hockey Results
  • Junior Hockey Team
  • Northside Dublin League CHAMPIONS!!!! Manor
    House Junior Hockey Team rounded of a tremendous
    season by defeating Sutton Park School in the
    final 1 0 to clinch the Northside Dublin
    League.
  • Junior B Hockey Team
  • Northside Dublin League Another commendable
    season that only just resulted in the Manor House
    team missing the final of this league. Third
    place.
  • Terra Nova School, Chesire, England Visiting
    school at short notice played a combined Junior
    and Minor team in April. Resulted in an exciting
  • 1 1 draw.
  • Minor Team
  • Northside Dublin League A strong team with a
    load of promise and look good for a prospective
    title in a few years. Good performance this year
    finishing third.

2004 Hockey Camogie Blitzes
  • Hockey Blitz
  • The Hockey Blitz is an annual competition run by
    the Manor House Hockey Captain to celebrate that
    years Hockey season. This years competition was
    fun, competitive and exciting.
  • The best player for 2004 was Orla Shiels (6th
    Year), the most committed player was Clodagh
    McCarthy (5th Year) and the most improved player
    was Mairead Gallagher (3rd Year)

Camogie Blitz The Camogie Blitz was run for the
first time this year and like the Hockey Blitz
will become a fun event that all players can look
forward to at the end of their seasons.

  • Senior Team
  • Dublin North Leinster League As Elaine
    ONeill, our 6th year captain explains, We won
    some, we lost some. The girls actually did very
    well to reach the Semi Finals.
  • Cadette Team
  • Dublin North Leinster League Not the best of
    years, but have expressed their willingness to
    improve on results next year.
  • Junior Team
  • Dublin North Leinster League The team of the
    year. Brilliant results throughout the year
    resulted in a final appearance against Rathcoole
    at a packed National Basketball Arena. Final
    score 25 16. Champions!!!!
  • Minor Team
  • Dublin North Leinster League Not a great
    season but showed promise and will be looking to
    emulate the Junior team next year.

Athletics2003 All Ireland Champions!
  • Cross Country 2003/4
  • Senior Team This team ran well by unfortunately
    did not progress past the North Leinsters. This
    team is rebuilding for a bigger and better next
    season.
  • Junior Team Ran extremely well to place 3rd at
    North Leinsters and progress to the Leinster
    Championship.
  • Track Field 2003/4 This season continues with
    Leinsters on Wed. next.
  • Louise Bernard (3rd Yr) 1st 800 3rd 200m _at_
    North Leinsters
  • Siobhan Gaffney (1st Yr) 1st High Jump _at_ North
    Leinsters
  • Clare Ryan (2nd Yr) 2nd Shot Put _at_ North

  • 4/300metre Relay Team 1st _at_ North Leinsters

  • Anne Marie Fenton (5th Yr) 400m Free, 200m IM,

  • Natasha OBrien 100m Breaststroke 2nd
  • National Schools Swimming Championships
  • 4/50 Metre Intermediate Medley Relay 2nd
  • 4/50 Metre Intermediate Freestyle Relay 2nd
  • Anne Marie Fenton 1st 200m IM 2nd 400m Free
    2nd 100m Free.
  • Natasha OBrien 100m Breaststroke 2nd
  • Individual Honours
  • Anne Marie Fenton represented Irish Schools at
    International meet in April.
  • Anne Marie Fenton represented Ireland in Athens
    for the lighting of the Olympic Flame.

  • Minor Team
  • Dublin Championships Unbeaten season in the
    league and reached the semi final, only to lose
    narrowly to St. Wolstans.
  • Junior Team
  • Dublin Championships Reached the Semi Final
    stage and just like the Minor team were
    unfortunately beaten.
  • Leinster Championships Beaten by a strong team
    from Offaly in the second round.
  • Senior Team
  • Leinster Championships Knocked out at an early
    stage. Games were limited in other competitions
    due to weather.
