What are the Review Criteria?

• Depend upon mechanism
• For all applications, NIH uses five review
  criteria
• Significance
• Approach
• Innovation
• Investigator
• Resources and Environment
• Based upon these, before the meeting each
  reviewer assigns a preliminary score of 1 (best)
  to 5 (worst) to each application assigned to
  him/her.
