- Provide walk-through of the current EDEN
Submission System. - Provide information concerning new Data Framework

- Access is secured by a Login ID and Password.
- Access provided by Partner Support Center (PSC).

Access to ESS Home Page
Access to transmit data files
Access to view status of transmitted files.
Including format and validation errors,
reasonability edit warnings.
Access to view submission status by SEA, LEA and
School.
This sub-application is available to view and
verify data at a State, LEA, or School level.
This area allows you to change your password as
needed.
5Data Framework
- New Sub-Application to be released January
2006. - Designed to provide ability to view data
requirements, data groups, category sets and
permitted code values. - Also provides a direct link to File
Specifications.
New Enhancement
6Transmittal Authorization
Submit your data into EDEN. Enter path and data
file name or use Browse feature.
7Transmittal Status Report
1. Next, view the status of your data file.
2. Filter by Date, Status and/or SY.
3. Find your file and see Transmittal Status.
8Transmittal Status Report Additional Features
- View Format and Validation Errors
- View actual data submitted.
- View Reasonability Edit Warnings.
- Provide explanation for unexplained warnings.
- Download status report to Excel.
- Change Sort Orders on column headings.
9Submission Progress Report
Allows you to view where you are in the yearly
submission process. You can view the submission
status by State, LEA or School level.
10Education Unit Profile
Allows access to Directory type information at
the SEA, LEA and School levels. Also provides
additional state date, count types and Program
information.
11Change Password
Allows user access to reset password when needed.
