  • Eighty-five percent of women who were raped knew
    their attackers
  • Fifty-seven percent of rapes occur on a date
  • Seventy-five percent of male students and
    fifty-five percent of female students involved in
    date rape had been under the influence of alcohol
    and/or drugs
