Introduction
  • The Grange Hotel stands in glorious landscaped
    gardens on the outskirts of the market town of
    Alton in Hampshire.
  • There has been a house on this site for
    generations but it was only in 1980 that this
    attractive family home was converted into a small
    hotel.
  • Andrea and David Levene brought the hotel in 1986
    and since then have made many additions, whilst
    maintaining its appeal as a stylish and elegant
    family run hotel ideal for an intimate or grand
    wedding occasion

Your Wedding
  • As a civil venue for marriages, we at the Alton
    Grange are able to cater for your ceremony from
    start to finish.
  • From the moment you book your reception to the
    cutting of the cake you will receive a friendly,
    knowledgeable and helpful service from our
    experienced team.
  • As well as offering 34 individually decorated and
    furnished en-suite bedrooms, the hotel has gained
    an enviable reputation for the excellence of its
    cuisine. The elegant Truffles Restaurant really
    is a treat to dine in and now has been rewarded
    with two AA Rosettes and two RAC dining awards
    for the quality of the cuisine.

The Gardens
  • Part of the natural charm of the Alton Grange
    Hotel is its large landscaped gardens.
  • The gardens offer a delightful backdrop for
    photography as well as the opportunity to site
    marquees with connecting walkways on the lawns.
  • The Hotel can accommodate up to 120 for a day
    time reception. Coming in the near future it may
    be possible to use our gardens to hold your civil
    marriage ceremony.

The Grange Rooms
  • The Piano Room Complete with Baby Grand Piano,
    the area opens onto our gardens. The Piano Room
    can accommodate 90 people interlinking with the
    Terrace Room.
  • The Terrace Room An Elegant room overlooking
    the superb landscape gardens, able to accommodate
    up to 30 guests.
  • Piano Terrace Rooms combined A large area
    with attractive plants, opening onto the garden
    terrace, able to accommodate up to 120 guests for
    a sit down wedding breakfast.
  • Saxon Room Excellently situated for your
    private dining.
  • Whatever your requirements, do come and discuss
    them with us. Being a privately owned Country
    House Hotel we may assure you of a warm welcome
    with prompt and courteous service at all times.

  • The Owners of the Alton Grange Hotel have now
    extended your choice even more. They have just
    built a luxury villa in Orlando, Florida, which
    is a perfect honeymoon option in the sunshine
    state of American. Please ask our wedding
    co-ordinator for any further details.

Wedding Packages
  • Our Wedding Packages are specially selected to
    includes the finest drinks packages menus, or
    if you would prefer we could tailor make your own
    package.
  • There are a number of packages to chose from and
    each package includes day time room hire, your
    selection of coloured table linen, a member of
    staff to act as Master of Ceremonies, traditional
    cake stand and knife. Also drinks on arrival,
    wine with the meal, wine for the toast, service,
    your chosen menu coffee and not forgetting
    complimentary accommodation for the Bride and
    Groom in either of our Luxury rooms, or the
    opportunity to upgrade to either the Saxon or
    Amber Suite at a small supplement.
  • If you would like to continue your reception into
    the evening you can hire the rooms after 6pm for
    150.00 and this will include the dance floor.
    There are extensive finger buffet menus available
    and links to local bands and discos too. Our
    maximum evening reception capacity is 200 people.
