Why do we brush our teeth?

Materials

• You will need
• 1 Hard Boiled Egg
• 1 Cup of Coca-Cola

Step 1

• Place the egg in the cup of pop.
• This represents all of the things that we eat
  that are bad for our teeth candy, pop,sugar,
  coffee,juice, etc.

Step 2

• Leave the egg in the pop overnight.
• This represents going to bed at night without
  brushing your teeth.

Step 3

• Day 2
• Take out your egg.
• What happened to it?

• Use a toothbrush and toothpaste to gently clean
  your egg.
• Notice how much cleaneryour egg is now!

• When we brush our teeth, they stay clean and we
  have healthy teeth and gums.
• Remember to brush your teeth at least 2 times
  every day!!
