The Problem

• How many people think the kitchens have surround
  sound?
• How many people have used surround sound in the
  kitchens?
• Most people just want to watch TV or play DVDs in
  the kitchens
• The current equipment is out of date and hard to
  use

The Solution

• Simplify the A/V Systems
• Removing unnecessary components from the kitchen
  systems will makes the systems simpler to use and
  more reliable
• This has been proved with the TV's in the 4th and
  6th floor lounges
• Residents can still attach their own components
• Removing components will also reduce the
  temptation for residents to self diagnose
  problems
