Founding Philosophy

• Offer convenient housing location commuting to
  campus
• Create a high quality, safe and dynamic
  residential environment which supports students
  personal, social, and educational development
• Foster a sense of community within the residence
• Allow for formal and informal student, faculty
  and staff interaction
• Support student responsibility in the development
  and governing of residences

• To establish the infrastructure and initiate the
  programs that best engage the residents of
  Sidney-Pacific within the dormitory and MIT
  communities as friends, neighbors, students,
  scholars, professionals, and citizens.

• Available rooms will be listed online by May 6th
• In-house moves MUST be completed by August 20th
• Submit online ballot with top 10 choices by May
  11th
• Results posted by May 16th
• Secondary room assignment process late May /
  early June
• First-year residents who get re-assigned to S-P
• 1st year Senior Segues
